Scuba diving in Bodrum

Diving in Bodrum is one of the most popular activities on the Aegean coast of Turkey.

The underwater world of the Aegean Sea is famous for its unusual ‘sponge’ reefs, variety of fish and many underwater caves and grottoes. Here you can find a large number of starfish, colourful sponges, as well as barracuda, moray eels, octopus and even the rare orphos.

Scuba Diving in Bodrum is suitable for both beginners and experienced divers. Bodrum has a wide range of scuba diving sites available. 

If you are a beginner, no worries! At first, experienced instructors will give you a detailed briefing, familiarise you with the equipment, safety rules and show you underwater sign language.  After the training, you will make one dive to a depth of 6-8 metres with a duration of 30 minutes.

Certified divers are offered to dive to deeper points, where you can see caves, fragments of ancient amphorae and shipwrecks. Underwater photo and video shooting is also available.

Diving in Bodrum takes place in the bays near the Black Island. After diving you can also sunbathe and swim.
